So, what have we done? Well in a way a lot, we have complete our quick post system and just only complete the advanced blog system, and as the system had been developed throughout May we have ended up developing our own custom CMS (Content Management System) for JSCR Gaming, this has made me want to create a fully function CMS for fansites, so stay tuned for later updates on the JSCR CMS.

Anyway back on subject, I would like to tell you about the advanced blog system.

Now as part of JSCR Gaming, I wanted to include unique features for users, by adding Social Networking into the mix, so I decided, why not let the user post their own gaming news, and this was the birth of my new advanced blogging system. Of course the quick post system is a smaller version of this, I decided I wanted it to be more and with after the release of JSCR Gaming more will be added such as being able to upload video from the system and inserting them into the post as well as images.

Lets get off the what I want to do and back to what it can do, with an installed WYSIWYG editor users post can be able to have advanced editing, such featured in basic Word Processing, this includes formatting, font changer, copy/paste, inserting images and a lot more.

But that’s not it, once posted users can comment on the post and tell users what they think about it, and if they have asked for help, answer there call.



I want to put a lot more features into this system, such as being able to upload pictures and videos.

This must be the longest news post I’ve made so far without quotes in it :P, but here is some more news about JSCR Gaming.
First I’ll like to announce the release date of JSCR Gaming, which is 28 June 2010, so not long to wait for JSCR Inc to get back into the gaming spirit and for you to get your own gaming space, we are also are proud to announce a new guy on the scenes, and that is Pat from SimlishSims, he will be helping me on the sim side of things, hope he stays for quite a while and become a valued part of the team.

JSCR Gaming now has its own twitter page :), and probably soon it will extend it self into Youtube, facebook and others.

The benefits of this is that JSCR Gaming can now be separate from JSCR Inc twitter page and is able to post information relevant to the game while the JSCR Inc page can post information about the site and can soon become just about my websites and maybe the odd post here an now :)

So basically I will set the new site out like this:

Main Home: This is will be the main home of JSCR Gaming, it will feature the latest news from us and users latest blog post.

My Gaming Space: This will be the user interactive power house, where users can edit there accounts, post quick posts and blog posts, talk on the forums and more.

The Sims Titles: This will be part of the site which will show the latest news on Sims titles, blog posts by users which are related to the sims. It will also feature game guides, informational pages, images, videos and more

Spore Titles: This will part of the site which will show the latest news on Spore titles, blog posts by users related to spore. It will also feature game guides, information pages, images and more

City Sim Titles: And last but not least the City Sim Titles which will focus on SimCity, Cities XL and Civilization and often give news about other city sims. This part of the site will feature news on city sims, users blog post related to city sims as well as game guides, informational pages, images, videos and more.

More may come in the future covering a lot more games, but I think JSCR Gaming will be ok with these 3 parts of the site.

The system will allow users to see their own posts, every ones else’s posts and when they are on a users page, the post of that user. So basically when you are on the main interface of the system, you will be able to see all the post of every one on the system as well as your own posts. Their will also be a place on the main interface where the user is able to post a new quick post.



While on a users page, the system will feature all post from that user. Also if a user is previewing their own page, they will be able to post a quick post as well.



This system is still in development, as I’m going to make a more in-depth version of quick post, in the form of a blog like system, where user will be able to post longer blogs showing in game stories and posting YouTube videos and righting about them. The more in-depth system will give allow the user to post the post with a title and maybe tags.

There is a lot more to be done with this blogging system, this is just the beginning, when I get the friend system up and running, users will be able to read post off friends.

So that’s it for now, more information on other features will soon come, such as the e-mailing system and forum.

Well Here at JSCR Inc, we are taking a leap forward with JSCR Gaming, and bringing you a Social Networking type fansite.

How will it be like a Social Networking Site?

Well Social Networking sites such as MySpace and Facebook gives a user a profile, then on that profile they can customize it with pictures, videos, personal information. Then they can contact friends by e-mail or posting on a shout box.

So what are the things JSCR Gaming is going to have?

Now to make sure we stay on subject, we arn't not going to go all out making a complete Social Networking site, thats why we are keeping it simple.
At the moment, I can say we have produced a User space, with customizable fields, such include inputting users gamer tags, entering a small description of your self and choosing what your current games are.

But thats not it, we are going build a system which allows users to post information about their games, such as pictures, videos and custom contents. Sort of like a users gaming news.
This will be reflected back to the 3 game fansites, JSCR Sims 3, Spore and gaming, as, if the users post is in a Sims category, then the news will show on JSCR Sims 3.

When will it be released? Well Soon I hope. Through these months of development, I’ve become satisfied with Design 4 of the site, meaning all my pages will soon be done.

I can also confirm that users will have their own space and are able to pm each other. I am working on users being able to choose what games they own as well as working on a “secrete” feature.

Another blog post will be released soon stating what I have confirmed to be in the new fansite.
